Furniture Store Closings in Atlanta Balanced By New Opportunities

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution article reported that, "This week, Rooms To Go hired 40 people for a new Atlanta-area store. Furniture chain I. O. Metro opened three locations in the market."

The article noted that the furniture business is picking in Atlanta, while at the same time weaker retailer stores such as Beverly Hall, Jennifer Convertibles and Global Living have closed stores, opeing up locations and opportunities for other retailers.
