From Leda's domestic line to be shown in High Point
Medium to high-end casegoods manufacturer Leda Furniture announced that it will showcase its domestic product line at this fall’s High Point Market.
“While there still is a ‘looking for price’ mind set in our industry, there is also a growing sector wanting better end goods and/or Made in USA or Canada product.” states Leda President Marco L Confalone. “Our industry is slowing coming back around and realizing that there is room for both domestic and imported products at the low, medium and high end of the price spectrum. The challenge for retailers and manufacturers, or distributors, is to understand what role they want to play to their perspective customer.”
Leda continues focusing attention on their ongoing The Leda Advantage campaign. This campaign outlines advantages retailers can experience working with Leda, including domestic production, limited distribution, meaningful communication and quick-ship programs.
New marketing programs include an upgraded fabric offering and a soft launch to their revamped website. An official website relaunch will be announced later this Fall.
“We have also received positive feedback to recent new finish options that we have added to select collections, giving consumers the ability to better customize their furniture to their home environment”, adds Confalone
“We anticipate the Fall Market to lead into a year of recovery and growth for 2011,” continues Confalone “we want retailers to know that there is a benefit to working with Leda. Their floor space is important, therefore we need to ensure that they get the most from our products and programs.”
