Elite Leather reported that its Lugano sectional was presented with a 2010 Pinnacle Award. The company noted that this section is perfect for entertaining guests, with its dramatically curved chaise, tailored, sloped back and arms, loose pillows, and chrome metal legs. The sectional, which starts at suggested retail price of $8,000, was created in a soft cream leather, a design collaboration between Elite Leather president Michael A. Galardo and his son, Elite Leather furniture designer Michael F. Galardo. Michael F. Galardo has also been honored with the 2006 Pinnacle Award for his Pasadena sofa.
