Officials with Leggett & Platt, Incorporated and World Market(sm) announced that its Fashion Bed Group division has signed a lease agreement to display products in the soon-to-be-constructed World Market Center, near downtown Las Vegas. The product offering will initially include adult and juvenile ornamental wood and metal beds, futons, daybeds and bedding support products such as bed frames and rail systems. “We see the WMC as ideally situated to service our many customers in the Western United States, as well as many buyers and dealers elsewhere in the U.S. who will find the Las Vegas Market appealing and important,” said Ron Ainsworth, President of Fashion Bed Group. “We believe this Market will have immediate importance to the furnishings retailer base in West, as well as the potential to become a significant factor in the marketing process of home furnishings on a national, and perhaps international, level.
