F. Schumacher & Co., one of the nation’s leading design houses and marketers of luxury textiles and decorative interior products, announced that Terri Eagle, a veteran luxury executive who was recently President and CEO of Garrard Holdings Limited and Stephen Webster Limited, has been named President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Only the second time in 30 years has this position been held by a non-family member of F. Schumacher & Co.
The search began this past February when Gerald W. Puschel, fourth generation President and CEO, announced to the Board of Directors his intention to retire by the end of 2010.
Ms. Eagle has extensive experience in the luxury brand and retail industry. Prior to becoming President and CEO of Garrard and Stephen Webster, Eagle served as President and CEO of John Hardy USA and held several senior management positions at David Yurman, including Chief Operating Officer.
Ms. Eagle began her career at L’Oreal USA and subsequently served in senior executive positions at Revlon Inc. and Montblanc North America.
