Shoehorn Furnishings annouced that The Sleep and Store sofa from Shoehorn Furnishings has been selected as a finalist in the prestigious 2011 Housewares Design Awards.
 
Called “the Oscars of home design,” the Housewares Design Awards is the premier awards competition focused on the housewares industry. Winners will be announced at the Housewares Design Awards presentation ceremony and luncheon on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at the New York Marriott Marquis.

Sleep and Store is an innovative, multi-functional line of smartly styled sofas, loveseats and chairs that offer seating, storage and sleepers in Queen, Full and Twin sizes. The line emphasizes efficient use of small spaces and can be moved anywhere due to the unique multi-piece construction. The sleepers are built individually in Indiana and shipped within 2 weeks.

An independent panel of judges selected Sleep and Store as the finalist based on superior design, appearance, function and originality. The Housewares Design Awards are presented by HomeWorld Business, with educational support from the International Housewares Association and sponsorship by the New York International Gift Fair®
