New Bedding Venue at High Point's IHFC

The IHFC and non-profit Specialty Sleep Association's (SSA) "The Future of Sleep" jointly announced the opening of a space on the fourth floor of the IHFC's Main Wing. The 5,600 square-foot showroom is located just off the elevators, and will be open for High Point Market this spring.
Describing the showroom space as a "show-within-a-show," SSA's Future of Sleep often features innovative, newer emerging technologies, according to Dale T. Read, President of the SSA.

"These are often smaller, entrepreneurial manufacturers and suppliers in the mattress, bedding, and top of bedding arena," Read said. "This showroom offers these manufacturers and suppliers flexible, smaller space. If it is anywhere near as successful as our other showrooms, this will be a fun and informative destination for bedding store retailers, managers and buyers."

"We are pleased to have the SSA here," said Julie Messner, IHFC's Vice-President of Publication Sales who has been instrumental in the IHFC's drive to create Market's premier destination for buyers in the bedding category.  "We believe these smaller, entrepreneurial exhibitors add diversity to our already deep roster of some two dozen bedding manufacturers.  Bedding category buyers already seek us out.  Now there's even more reason to make High Point and the IHFC their number one destination."
