Leggett & Platt Consumer Products Group Offers High Point Visitors Chance To Win

Following a successful West Coast introduction at the January 2011 Las Vegas Market, Leggett & Platt® Consumer Products Group will offer its East Coast customers an opportunity to enjoy a lucrative visit to its High Point showroom (IHFC C-603) next month. On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, the company will offer each retail buyer the chance to go home with a silver lining for their sleep surface and possibly even more.

As part of a showcase illustrating the advanced application of the MicroSilver BG™ antimicrobial technology in its newest product, the Leggett & Platt® SilverShell™ antimicrobial mattress protector, L&P will host the SilverShell™ wheel spin as visitors enter the Consumer Products Group showroom. More than 300 buyers participated in the activity in Las Vegas and enjoyed the “First Fans of SilverShell” designation.

Prizes available will include $100 gift cards, a night at  the movies for two compliments of L&P, and a selection of Leggett & Platt® home textiles products. In addition, each participant will have a chance to take home a SilverShell™ antimicrobial mattress protector and be entered in a drawing for the latest 16GB Apple iPad2.

The SilverShell™ antimicrobial mattress protector inhibits 99.9 percent of germs, protecting a mattress from stain- and odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew that cause fabric deterioration. The antimicrobial technology uses highly pure, natural elemental silver to inhibit germs. The technology is used in a variety of healthcare and consumer applications, such as dental applications, breast prosthesis for recovering breast cancer patients, skincare (creams, lotions, spray), and personal care (toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo).
