Powell Furniture announced the appointment of Mark Price as Vice President of Sales for the Midwest to lead the growth of business they are experiencing in the region.
“The addition of industry veteran Mark Price allows us to logically divide our North American sales force into three regions; East, Midwest and West. Having a top notch dedicated sales force as well as having an experienced management team in place to support our retail partners with quick response and follow up makes it easy to do business with Powell,” states Jimmy Ziozis, Chief Executive Officer. Powell’s exciting new launches in casual dining and seating have generated increases in the number of retailers buying the line. Their business “style” for personal and timely response makes it necessary to add personnel.
“I have known Jim Ziozis for years, and the fact that he was the one to take ownership of the brand solidifies my decision,” states Mark Price. I’m ready to help write the next chapter in Powell’s history." Price will report to Ziozis. The position takes effect in early May.
Gary Glick, Powell’s Senior Vice President of Sales for the West and Clay Ackard Vice President of Sales for the East, both veterans of the industry, will team with Price to handle sales management for the company.
