In preparation for Memorial Day sales and peak mattress shopping season, Gold Bond Mattress reported that it -is breaking conventional styling with a new design offering a fresh, contemporary and urban look. The company introduced the redesigned Premier Series, its classic, most premier two-sided mattress line.
From its old school, handmade real coil box spring to the 850 coils in the innerspring unit, striking new fabric and now, luxurious microsuede on the borders, the new Premier pairs artisanal craftsmanship with a more modern, contemporary and sensual aesthetic. Its mocha, linen and pale blue color scheme is aimed at helping the product stand out on the showroom floor and so that retailers can broaden their mattress style range from ‘traditional’ to ‘transitional’ and ‘contemporary,’ as seen in other home furnishings.
“In speaking with retailers we know consumer tastes can vary greatly from the traditional to the ultra-modern, and in reintroducing our top line we wanted to cater to those consumers who gravitate toward more contemporary color palettes and updated fabrics,” said Gold Bond President Bob Naboicheck. “Gold Bond has become known in the industry for using rich fabrics and color in our mattress ticking. Our redesigned Premier helps the product ‘pop’ among a sea of plain vanilla mattresses, while also providing great comfort and tremendous value. This helps the retailer make a sale at a much higher margin than the S brands on the floor.”
Consisting of the Florence, Copenhagen, Barcelona and Paris models, Premier is one of the company’s most popular collections. All are two-sided mattresses that represent some of the best values in the marketplace today. Guaranteed with a 15-year warranty, Premier is available in firm, plush and European box pillow top and carries a suggested retail price from $1,199 to $3,000 in queen.
Gold Bond manages the production process within its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hartford, Connecticut where it produces 100% of its mattresses. The majority of the raw material is also sourced in the U.S.A.
“Because we manage all aspects of the production ourselves, we are able to work with retailer requests rather quickly to turn around products that bring the right comfort, price and showroom appeal for their needs,” said Naboicheck.
Gold Bond will present its all-new Premier Series at the upcoming Las Vegas Furniture Market this August.
