Following its successful partnership at the Winter 2011 Gift+Home at Las Vegas Market, World Market Center Las Vegas announced that it will once again provide hundreds of complimentary retailer memberships to the Gift & Home Trade Association for new gift buyers who register and attend the Summer 2011 Gift+Home at Las Vegas Market, Aug. 1-5.
Gift buyers in attendance at the last Gift+Home at Las Vegas Market were the first to receive free memberships after World Market Center Las Vegas forged a strategic partnership with the association. That partnership was designed to bring new gift buyers to the bi-annual markets while increasing membership numbers for the national Association. An additional 400 complimentary memberships are available to gift buyers only who are either completely new to market or who have not been to the Las Vegas show for three market cycles. All qualifying buyers also must be in attendance at Summer Market to obtain the membership and will be notified post-market with membership details.

Specific benefits for retailers include access to the Independent Retailers Resource Center (www.IndependentRetailers.biz), which provides retailers with information and tools to brand and publicize their stores, as well as the Retailer Help Desk, which gives retailers the opportunity to e-mail retailer-specific questions to the GHTA for consideration. They also will be provided with education opportunities at various events, seminars, quarterly webinars and retailer-to-retailer breakfast seminars at major trade shows throughout the year.
