Peoploungers announced that it will unveil a new line of occasional tables, which will include six unique collections. The designs were premiered during pre-Market, and will make their official debut in High Point Market – Fall 2011 at the National Furniture Mart space #803.
The collections are designed to complement the Peoploungers’ seating collection, along with any interior space where consumers love to lounge. The occasional table designs include:
- The “CD Series,” a pop-art inspired collection, boasts bold blocks of color, with a choice of either white or fiesta red, against metal or walnut frames.
- “Eight Tracks” is a collection of consoles, coffee, side and accent tables as well as a media cabinet, heavily influenced by retro designs from the 1970s, and finished in ash veneer with black metal.
- “Hair Pin” combines function and design, just as its name suggests, for smaller spaces with open metal framed shelving units and accent tables with walnut shelves and table tops.
- “Low Rider” is designed to complement the Low Rider modular seating collection, offering shelving units that complement perfectly with the back of all of the Low Riders models. All can be finished in white lacquer or walnut.
- “Moving Company” draws inspiration from classic Americana, with designs made out of natural/aged oak, complemented by a trio of ash veneered trunks in small, medium and large.
- The “School Zone” collection showcases simple lines and angles, perfect for even the smallest of dorm rooms. Every piece is available in natural ash or distressed paint/birch veneer.
“Our design team has worked so hard this past year to make sure we address all our consumers’ needs, offering additional occasional pieces like media cabinets, shelving units, accent tables, and side tables,” says Steve Dinkins, president of Peoploungers. “Our new mission is ‘to give people new and better places to lounge in their lives, and to provide lounging product for all types of people.’ We believe retailers and consumers alike will be pleased with our occasional table offerings.”
