CIFF reported that Asia’s Largest Furniture Sourcing Center, the 29th China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou), CIFF 2012 March, is to be held at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in two phases; Home Furniture on March 18-21 and Office Show on March 27-30. The shows will have a total exhibition area of 6,673,624 sq. ft., housing 3,000 exhibitors. 150,000 visitors are expected to take part. CIFF will uphold its guiding principle of “Being export oriented, while paying attention to the domestic market”, with the outstanding resources.
With over 14years successful experience, CIFF has become one of the most valuable industrial platforms for furniture trading, exhibiting and communicating. Focusing on the core subject of furniture, three dominant furniture exhibition brands have been developed and formed:
- China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou)-Home Furniture
- China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou)-Office Show
- China International Woodworking Machinery & Furniture Raw Materials Fair (Guangzhou)/interzum guangzhou
Three professional furnishing exhibition brands have been established:
- Homedecor & Housewares China
- China (Guangzhou) International Trade Fair for Home Textiles
- China International Outdoor & Leisure Fair.

The 1st Phase of CIFF will focus on the Whole-Home-décor theme, housed in over 6.5 million square feet of exhibition space. Besides leading furniture enterprises, many loated in Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Sichun, Shangdong, and Beijing, overseas furniture brands as well will show their products. The show will feature pavilions from Europe, the U.S.A, Asia, and Turkey.
Alongside outstanding furniture displays, Homedecor & Housewares China 2012, China International Outdoor & Leisure Fair 2012 will highlight products of interst to home furnishings retailers.
The 2nd Phase of CIFF includes CIFF-Office Show and China International Woodworking Machinery & Furniture Raw Materials Fair (Guangzhou) [also known as CIFM/ interzum guangzhou]. The CIFF-Office Show is the only trade fair in Asia to present comprehensive solutions for office, hospitality and public space fit-out and design. In 2012, it will hit a record high with over 2 million square feet, the largest fair of its kind. CIFM/ interzum guangzhou is recognized as the largest and most comprehensive woodworking machinery and accessories fair in Asia. It is expected to reach a scale of 1.4 million square feet in 2012, a marked increase over 2011.
Original furniture design will play a key role as the industry's emphasis is changing from “Made in China” to “Create in China”. CIFF attaches importance to this effort to develop China’s original design and offer opportunities for the genuine innovation.
- The 4th Furniture Design Gallery - offering the talented furniture designers, studios, institutions a stage for displaying original and edging furniture designs, CIFF-Home Furniture 2012 will continue to cooperate with the professional entities like Guangdong Furniture Association and hold the 4rd Furniture Design Gallery.
- Office Environment Theme Pavilion –To realize the goal of improving China’s work environment, the host will continually invite experts on office furniture and office fit-out to set up the 2012 Office Environment Theme Pavilion.
