World Market Center Las Vegas announced that wall art company Somerset Studios, Inc., has inked a new multi-year deal to return to Las Vegas Market for the upcoming show, Jan. 30 – Feb. 3, 2012.
Somerset’s new 2,800-square-foot showroom will be in Building A, Suite A-330.
“As one of the largest and most diverse made in America art companies in the world, our retailers told us we must return to Las Vegas,” said Robert Fleisher, vice president of sales and marketing for Somerset Studios. “Retailers look forward to our four large releases of new products each year, and we’re thrilled our new showroom at Las Vegas Market will give us the opportunity to honor our customer’s requests.”
Fleisher added Somerset is also excited to show a number of new pieces from their Hamilton Studios Collection of Opening Price Point Art at the upcoming Winter 2012 Las Vegas Market, rounding out their “one-stop shopping” concept.
“Somerset was one of the original showrooms at Las Vegas Market and we welcome their return for Winter 2012,” said Lee Hershberg, vice president of home décor for International Market Centers, parent company of World Market Center Las Vegas. “As the premier gift and home décor show on the west coast, we’re thrilled Somerset recognizes the value of showcasing product at Las Vegas Market and has opened a new showroom here as part of their strategic marketing plan. We’re confident this move will allow Somerset to attract new and renewed buyers from across the country.”
Somerset Studios was started in 1977 by Stephen K.C. West and through their network of some of the best sales reps in the industry, has established long standing business relationships with many of the “who’s who” of fine home furnishings retailers. With approximately 12,000 active art pieces to choose from and many more in the company’s archives, Somerset designs and produces everything from original oil paintings to the most highly detailed multiple matted, floating images and shadow box framed art. While Somerset’s artisans rival any in the world, and their art has such high perceived and intrinsic values, with such moderate prices, it continues to astound retailers that all of the pieces are made in the U.S. in Morganton, N.C.
“Based on the considerable positive comments I have received from our customers and some of the retailers we have been courting, this strategic return to the Las Vegas Market will ensure continued success for all parties and I’m hopeful that translates to a record setting market,” said Fleisher.
Registration for Winter 2012 Las Vegas Market is now open. Attendees are able to register online at LasVegasMarket.com and take advantage of discounted hotel rates at some of Las Vegas’ best hotels, both on and off the Strip, through the Las Vegas Market website.
