Schumacher announced the appointment of Maria E. Parasugo, Vice-President, Merchandising.
As Vice-President, Merchandising for Schumacher, Maria is responsible for developing strategy for merchandise planning as well as for merchandising initiatives.
Before joining F. Schumacher & Co., Maria served as Vice-President of Design, Sales & Merchandising for Century Furniture. Maria was responsible for overseeing sales, operations as well as product and merchandising efforts for Century Furniture sales to the design trade channel. Maria held various managerial positions at Century Furniture, including Showroom Manager, Director of Corporate Showrooms, and Senior Director of Sales and Merchandising.
Prior to her career at Century Furniture, Maria worked for the Waverly Division of F. Schumacher & Co. in various managerial positions.
