Two leaders from the home furnishings industry will receive The Spirit of Life® Award, City of Hope’s most prestigious philanthropic honor at the institution’s 2012 Spirit of Life Award dinner during the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, N.C., on Sunday, April 22, 2012. The Spirit of Life Award is presented annually to one or more national home furnishings industry leaders and recognizes outstanding business leadership and philanthropic achievements. This year’s event will take place at 6 p.m. at Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C. City of Hope’s 2012 Spirit of Life honorees are Jeff Seaman and Bob Sherman, chief executive officers of Rooms To Go and Serta Mattress Company. Both honorees have raised funds and heightened awareness for City of Hope within the National Home Furnishings Industry.
