As a continuation of the “iPad Tips and Tricks” series developed by Web4Retail for the International Home Furnishings Representatives Association, a seminar will be held at the World Market Center Las Vegas Jan. 29 at 6 p.m. in World View on the sixteenth floor of Building B.
This seminar is open to reps, manufacturers and suppliers who are interested in learning how the iPad can help streamline the catalog presentation process for a home furnishings rep. In addition, a review of all of the sessions that have taken place under the “iPad Tips and Tricks” series will be given.
At the conclusion of the seminar, Web4Retail will reveal elements of the iPad app they have in development. “We are very excited about the new iPad catalog app we have in development,” said Web4Retail President Denise Keniston. “We see our catalog app as a catalyst for both furniture reps and manufacturers as it relates to increased productivity and sales.”
IHFRA and the National Home Furnishings Association hosted a similar event at High Point, N.C., in October. “These seminars have been the best attended, and most sought after educational series we have ever run,” stated Kathy Parks, executive director of IHFRA.
Following the seminar, a cocktail party sponsored and hosted by International Market Centers will take place.
