STORIS Management Systems, a supplier of turnkey and business systems for furniture, appliance, and electronics retailers, announced today the availability of their new floor tag software.
Many STORIS customers such as Gabberts Inc, in Minneapolis, MN, Toms-Price in Wheaton, IL, and Kloss Furniture in Highland, IL have embraced this new software and are now designing their own customized floor and accessory tags with their own PC's.
Gabberts has been utilizing the floor tag software, to design hangtags and accessory labels ever since July, and is increasingly impressed with the capability of this product. "The flexibility of this program,'' said Bob Yttreness, MIS Manager, "has allowed us to design various types of labels for different products or product lines. We also have the flexibility to change the tags whenever it is needed. For example, we can print special tags for store wide sales, holiday sales and the like." Another valuable software feature being used by Gabberts is the ability to download specific information from the STORIS system onto the hang tag. For the most part, delivery to a customer's home is complimentary except on discontinued items. Therefore, when printing a discontinued item hangtag, Gabberts downloads the delivery- charge amount and prints it directly on the ticket so the customer is aware of this added cost immediately.
Toms-Price, which has been utilizing the software for several months, is also designing both customized hangtags and accessory labels. "The end-product produced from this software is excellent," said Andres Rios, MIS Manager at Toms-Price, which has recently opened a new store and is glad to have the floor tag software in place.
Kloss Furniture is also greatly satisfied with the interface that STORIS has created with this floor tag software. "I was surprised and thrilled at how easy the set-up of the floor tag program was," said Heather Cline, MlS Manager at Kloss, "I performed the set-up over the phone with STORIS!" They are currently designing accessory labels and in the near future plan to design their own hangtags as well.
The software's extensive capabilities allow retailers to improve the look of their store's floor tags by designing eye-catching, easy-to-read tags in full color. This program saves an immeasurable amount of time and money normally spent on custom programming or print costs. The purchase of the Label Matrix Program represents an affordable one-time cost. In addition, this interface provides the retailer with increased flexibility, allowing the design of a wide range of product tags in virtually any shape or size for a variety of situations from sales events to storewide clearances. And, it allows the retailer to create a variety of labels for different classes of products (i.e. appliances, furniture, accessories etc.).
