Dimplex To Highlight Contemporary Mantels And Trims For Its Popular Electric Fireplaces At High Point Market

The popular SymphonyT electric fireplace has been dubbed "The Fireplace for Anyplace". Not only is it easy to install - anywhere there is an electric outlet - but its manufacturer, Dimplex North America Limited, is constantly introducing new and contemporary mantels and trims to the market, products featuring the latest designer trends. "Dimplex follows furniture design and room decorating trends closely," says Marketing Director Jane Laurie. "When we say our fireplace is at home anyplace, we not only mean in any room in the house, but also that it complements any traditional or contemporary room decor. Our furniture retailers are also telling us that many of our new mantels and trims are being featured as room accents." Dimplex will display a number of new mantels and trims, a new version of it's popular electric stove, featuring a brass door, and its new generation RhapsodyT and CelesteT stoves, at this fall's High Point Furniture Market. The SymphonyT electric fireplace made history several years ago when it revolutionized both the hearth products and furniture markets. "What we developed," says Jane, "was the first electric fireplace with a completely realistic 'wood' flame effect. The introduction of the SymphonyT series of electric fireplaces meant that customers could have the ambiance of a realistic fireplace - with or without heat - anywhere in the house. For many apartment and condo owners, it meant that they could have a fireplace for the first time." The SymphonyT requires no fuel, no venting, and no gas lines. It's patented ElectraFlameT technology uses light to produce its very realistic flame effect. And with it's built in heater which can switched on or off to suit the need, the SymphonyT is truly a four- seasons product. Soon after its introduction, furniture retailers took an interest in the product. "Traditionally, furniture stores could not feature fireplaces because they needed piping and venting," says Jane. "The SymphonyT changed all of that, and over the last few years, the electric fireplace has become a feature in major furniture stores throughout North America, and is sold alongside other furniture items." The SymphonyT electric fireplace has been joined by its companion electric "wood" stoves - The StoveT, RhapsodyT and CelesteT. The RhapsodyT and CelesteT are larger than The StoveT, and are also featured in furniture stores. "Dimplex is rapidly gaining a reputation for its innovation in new product design," says Jane. "And the marketplace has recognized that with several awards for our products, including The StoveT. This fall's lineup at the Dimplex North America showroom at High Point includes a number of new mantels, among them contemporary black and cream models, traditional dark cherry, mahogany and white units, and a rich dark cherry on oak model. Both wall and corner models will be featured. In addition, Dimplex will show its new stainless steel and bronze grills as well as the CelesteT and RhapsodyT stoves which feature this year, new logs and flame technology.
