High Point, NC– In a growth plan that predicts greater sales volume, Gautier USA, Inc., a subsidiary of the fourth largest furniture manufacturer in Europe, will open a new, larger space in the 220 Elm building for the fall International Home Furnishings Market in High Point. The new space is about 50 percent larger than Gautier’s previous High Point showroom. The 6,000-square-foot showroom will feature popular lines by Gautier, including juvenile and adult bedroom suites and office furniture. It will also feature entertainment and dining suites that were newly introduced in 2000. The Gautier line is known for its sleek lines and uniquely European contemporary look. Known for its advanced production technology, Gautier USA is able to provide quick ship and delivery for all customers. In December 2001, Gautier will double warehouse space in Florida, increasing inventory to accommodate growing demand from retailers. "When we first opened in the United States, we only carried juvenile bedroom furniture. Now we’ve expanded to include adult bedroom, office, entertainment centers and dining room suites," says José Gosselin, CEO of Gautier USA. "We are looking ahead to the future when the economy will pick up again and preparing accordingly by expanding our warehouse and our market showroom."
