John Richard Names Hollifield to New Position

John Richard, a high end manufacturer of lighting, accessories, wall-art, mirrors, furniture and soft goods, announced that Peggy Hollifield has been appointed to the newly-created position of National Sales Manager for Lexington Home Accessories. Hollifield, who will work out of Lexington’s factory in Hickory, NC, will be responsible for coordinating all activities associated with the proprietary agreement entered into last October between John Richard and Lexington Home Brands. She will report to Jim Becker, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for John Richard, and will work directly with Lexington’s fifty-three Account Managers. Hollifield brings extensive furniture industry experience to the new position. As an Account Manager for Lexington she covered one of the company’s largest territories. She was also the first upholstery representative to be hired by Lexington to specialize in the upholstery division. Hollifield has served as General Sales Manager for Don Lamore, Inc. as well as representing successful retailers Edgar B. Furniture, Boyles Furniture and Blackwelders Furniture. John Richard, headquartered in Greenwood, Mississippi, entered a proprietary agreement with Lexington Home Brands last October with introductions in the "Sophie’s Attic" line. Items introduced included wall-art, oil paintings, lamps, chandeliers, mirrors, decorative accessories and soft goods. New items are now being designed for other Lexington lines.
