Burt Fainman, Vice Chairman and Executive Vice President of Butler Specialty Company, announced the promotion of Dan Sumner to the position of Vice President Of Sales And Marketing. Sumner, who had been Butler's National Sales Manager, will take over his new responsibilities immediately. Sumner will be responsible for planning and implementing Butler's marketing strategy including sales and advertising, as well as influence the company's merchandising and product development. In his new position, Sumner will continue to manage Butler's sales department. According to Fainman, "Dan has brought an enormous amount of energy and creativity to Butler Specialty Company during the last year and a half. He is one of the main reasons why Butler has continued to experience solid double-digit growth.
