Lazar Industries Introduces Several High Style Contemporary Collections In High Point

Lazar Industries, LLC, a special-order manufacturer of upholstered seating products, is making a very strong Contemporary statement during the 2002 Fall International Home Furnishings Market. Its newly remodeled showroom is located in Space D817 of the International Home Furnishings Center, 210 E. Commerce Street., on the eighth floor of the Design Center wing. The Market will be held October 17-23, 2002. According to Don Graves, Lazar’s Director of Sales and Marketing, “The showroom has an exciting new look, showcasing a variety of Contemporary and Casual design directions. These collections include Urban Naturals, ‘Contemporary with Attitude,’ Mid-Century Classics, and Home Comfort.” New Collections: The “Urban Naturals” are a collection of scaled-down sofas for city spaces, softened by natural materials like cotton and linen. A highlight of the collection is Lazar’s new Lucky Brand® denim upholstery line, featuring sectionals, sofas, chairs, and ottomans slipcovered in Lucky’s fashion-forward stonewashed, hand-sanded “Italian” denim fabric. “Mid-Century” sofas, chairs, and ottomans were designed with Contemporary and Scandinavian stores in mind, featuring classic shapes and clean lines. The newest additions to Lazar’s signature Avante Garde group, the “Contemporary with Attitude” collection, include trend-setting designs like the Attitude sofa, Facets and Palladium sectionals, and Cuddle circle lounge. New products in the “Home Comfort” category feature vintage-inspired fabrics, frames, and memorable details like nailhead accents and turned wooden legs. Lazar’s extensive fabric selection has even more depth this market, with introductions throughout the showroom in updated colors and textures as well as new colorways of proven fabrics including microfiber chenilles.
