Thomasville Furniture Opens First Dedicated Store in Northern New Jersey

Thomasville Furniture announced the opening of a new store in Woodbridge, NJ. Thomasville Home Furnishings of Woodbridge is located in a new shopping center at 453 Green St. (off of Route 1 in Woodbridge), behind the Woodbridge Mall. Store owners and brothers Michael Massood, Jr. and Edward Massood, New Jersey natives who own three Thomasville Home Furnishings stores in the Washington, DC area, seized this opportunity to bring a dedicated Thomasville Home Furnishing store to the thriving northern New Jersey market. “It has been some time since Thomasville has had retail presence in Northern New Jersey, and the demand for high quality, stylish furniture was definitely there,” said Edward Massood. “On opening day, customers were lined up around the block, and response continues to meet, and exceed, expectations.” Massood attributed the store’s successful introduction to its location in a high-traffic area near the Woodbridge Mall, strong brand recognition and to the store’s consumer-friendly design layout. “The northern New Jersey area is booming economically, and Thomasville is focused on developing a strong presence there,” said Chris Pfaff, President and CEO of Thomasville Furniture Industries. “This is an area where we see tremendous potential for new store growth.
