Tamura Joins Buxbaum Group As Appraisal Analyst

George Tamura has joined Buxbaum Group as an inventory appraisal analyst. A resident of Calabasas, Calif., Tamura most recently spent the past three years working as a senior associate in the area of inventory appraisal and financial modeling. Prior to that, he held positions as an internal financial analyst for Ernst & Young, LLP and as a financial manager for Graybar Electric Company. Tamura earned a bachelor’s degree in business finance from California State University, Los Angeles. Buxbaum Group, headquartered in Calabasas, provides inventory appraisals, auctions on both fixed and liquid assets, turnaround and crisis management, as well as other consulting services for banks and other financial institutions with retail, industrial, wholesale/distribution and consumer-product manufacturing clients. The firm also provides liquidation services on an equity or consultative basis for consumer-product inventories, machinery and equipment. Additionally, Buxbaum buys and sells consumer-product inventories on a close-out basis.
