AFMA Suppliers Division Elects New Officers

The Suppliers Division of the American Furniture Manufacturers Association has named its officers for 2003. Heading the division as president will be Dennis Park of Leggett & Platt Inc. in Carthage, Mo. New officers will take office Jan. 1. Park will be assisted by Pat Smith of Cargo Consolidation in Claremont, N.C., serving as first vice president, and Clint Wright of Carpenter Company in Conover, N.C., as second vice president. J.R. Gfesser of Trendler Inc. in Chicago moves to chairman of the board. New directors serving one-year terms are Buster Mann, Hickory Springs Manufacturing, Hickory, N.C. .; Bill Richardson, Blue Ridge Solvents & Coatings, Henry, Va. .: and Terry Tysinger, Valspar, High Point. New directors serving two-year terms include Cathie Huber, Adhesives Research Inc., Glen Rock, Pa.; Ray Shufelt, Top Supplies, High Point-, Ken Smith, BDO Seidman, High Point; and Jeff Smith, Ferrari America, High Point. New directors serving three-year terms are Trela Hendrix, Supreme Foam, High Point-, Michael Long, Synthetic Industries, Chattanooga, Tenn.; Edward Massood, MGM Transport, High Point; Terry O'Connor, SENCO Products, Cincinnati; and Jim McClellan, Franklin International, Columbus, Ohio.
