AmeriWest Launches New Lines Of Computer, Home Office and Entertainment Furniture

AmeriWest Industries, a consumer products company based in Ontario, CA, has recently launched its new lines of computer, home office and entertainment furniture. These products feature improved designs and greater functionality at a better value than the existing manufacturers in their category. The PVC wrapped and double-coated lacquer enamel finishes not only add to the design quality, but also provides added protection to the finishes. AmeriWest has put tremendous focus in all levels of their manufacturing process to ensure that the furniture offered to the market is better than what is currently available. From the ‘No unfinished edges, back or sides” to their industry leading, “As Easy As 123” assembly instructions, AmeriWest has made quality their standard and number one priority. Packaging features include a 4-color box re-enforced with a shrink-wrap and nylon banding. This provides optimum protection in shipping and reduces defects when the product reaches the final customers. Manny Favela, President of AmeriWest stated “We started with basic designs and looked at everything we could to make them better. After our R&D department finished, no less than 12 design improvements were incorporated into every piece of furniture that was designed to compete with one of the items that the majors were manufacturing. The results were astounding. Our focus is shifting from following the direction that the industry is going in to introducing items that are cutting edge in design and functionality” While most manufacturers are looking to cut manufacturing costs, AmeriWest’s ownership of 21 overseas factories offers them the opportunity to provide a higher quality piece of furniture for less cost. Many of the efficiencies they pick up as a result of owning the factories, are passed along to their customers. President Manny Favela also stated “Many of our designs are offered at a price point that the major domestic manufacturers cannot match. AmeriWest is not merely bringing another line of K/D furniture to the market, but rather, has produced a quality line of furniture that happens to be K/D. We are launching a line of items in the entertainment area that will bring a new concept to this category.” This fall, AmeriWest will launch an additional 100-125 new pieces in their furniture lines.
