Roger J. Quesnel Named Senior Vice President of Strategy and Planning for HomePoint

HomePoint, the leading provider of e-business solutions to the home furnishings industry, today announced that Roger J. Quesnel has joined the company as the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Planning. Mr. Quesnel will oversee HomePoint's business development and strategic alliance initiatives.

Prior to joining HomePoint, Mr. Quesnel served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations for Tridium, a software architecture and infrastructure company that supplies building automation and control systems to the energy, commercial building and industrial automation industries. He directed the company's finances, operations, information technology, legal and investor relations efforts. He was also responsible for leading the critical first phase of the company's Internet and extranet projects, which included launching a B2B ordering system.
Mr. Quesnel previously held various management positions at General Electric Company, including Manager of Corporate Business Development, where he was responsible for strategic business development activities. He also served as Manager of the Corporate Initiatives Group, coordinating company-wide technology initiatives. Earlier in his career, Mr. Quesnel held management consulting positions with Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Inc. and Coopers & Lybrand. In his consulting roles, he focused on supply chain management, distribution & logistics, and strategic sourcing activities.
Mr. Quesnel holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Psychology from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY and a Master of Management in Manufacturing from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
