An eclectic blend of lightly washed finish with nail head trim and weathered iron-strap hardware all are prominently designed into SIERRA COUNTRY ™, Kincaid Furniture Co. Inc.’s rustic 37-piece collection introduced during the April 2002 furniture market.
Crafted in hand-selected Solid White Oak with natural knotty characteristics and premium hardwoods, SIERRA COUNTRY ™ exhibits a relaxed, southwestern lifestyle while showcasing Mission architectural design elements.
Created by Kincaid’s Director of Design, Tim Annas, SIERRA COUNTRY’s bedroom, dining room, living room and occasional furniture all feature one-and-a-half inch-thick tops crafted from Solid Oak for rustic physical and visual durability.
To achieve the look of unpretentious and comfortable southwest American lifestyle, Kincaid applied a multi-stage, hand-distressed light wash finish that slightly subdues the bold character of oak while offering deep texture for the eye and hand. All edges are sanded and shaped to give a heavily worn, aged appearance.
All items in SIERRA COUNTRY ™ are accented with nail head trim. Beds, dining tables and select occasional pieces feature matching metal accents. A massive four-poster bed offers a metal headboard designed with wrought-iron gate architectural influences

BROOKSIDE CHERRY ™:
Responding to the emerging demand for Lodge-inspired furniture reflecting a casual, relaxed lifestyle, premier Solid Wood crafter Kincaid Furniture Co., Inc. introduces in April 2002 BROOKSIDE CHERRY™.
A 36-piece collection of traditional furniture for bedrooms, dining rooms, living rooms and entertainment centers, BROOKSIDE CHERRY ™ marries traditional design elements with modern functionality and performance. Crafted from solid cherry and premiere hardwoods, BROOKSIDE CHERRY ™ features a unique patent-pending device to self-store dining table leaves and large broken-pane glass china doors that efficiently glide on horizontally slides instead of swinging into the room on hinges.
The collection owes its beauty to solid cherry finished in a gentle, hand-distressed satin patina. The painstaking finishing process brings to life the unique and naturally flowing grain characteristics of Appalachian Mountain cherry.
Designed by Kincaid’s Director of Design, Tim Annas, BROOKSIDE CHERRY ™ is accented with stylish, antiqued brass hardware and matching metal accents that enforces a casual style.
