Cantoni Hires New Store Manager in Houston Michael Farmer To Manage Operations of Houston’s Leading Contemporary Furniture Retailer

Cantoni, Inc., one of the leading contemporary furniture, accessory and design studio retailers, recently hired Michael Farmer as Cantoni’s new store manager in Houston. Farmer, who has worked as a design consultant at Cantoni since 1993, will now spearhead the business operations of the Houston location, which opened in 1992. “We are pleased to have Michael join our management team,” said Michael Wilkov, Cantoni founder and president. “He is a hard worker and has always placed the clients’ needs first. He will prove to be a strong asset for our Houston showroom and design studio.” “I am looking forward to bringing Cantoni to the forefront of furniture retail in the Houston market,” said Farmer. “We already have a wonderful client following, and I look forward to enhancing our visibility as the leader in contemporary furniture and accessories. When he is not at Cantoni, Farmer can be found painting, sculpting or taking photographs. “It is my artistic talent that has lead me to interior design,” said Farmer. Ten years ago, Farmer changed paths from informational technology specialist to a career in art and fashion. Prior to Cantoni, Farmer worked as an informational technology specialist in a Chevron geophysical library. Founded in 1984, Cantoni has grown from a single location in Dallas, to more than 100,000 square feet of showroom space in Dallas, Houston and Irvine, Calif. Cantoni’s goal is to provide the best contemporary furnishings and accessories from the world's cutting-edge designers.
