Latex International Plans Second West Coast Location

Latex International, a leading manufacturer of latex mattress and cushion cores serving the bedding, furniture and futon markets, is once again expanding its operations. Due to an increased demand for its products and to better service regional customers in the Northwest, the company is opening Latex International Northwest, a full service fabrication and distribution facility located in Chehalis, WA. The announcement was made by Will Veitch, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Latex International. "Our corporate mandate calls for continuous upgrades in customer service," said Veitch. "With sales of our latex products very strong in the Northwest, the new Latex International Northwest makes sense. The facility will help manufacturers in Oregon and Washington. They will receive shipments more quickly since the merchandise will be fabricated and warehoused there." The new 18,000 square foot facility is located just south of Seattle at 222 Downie Road. Scheduled to open in December, Matthew Allen has been named the Plant Manager. "LI Northwest is the next step in our multi-faceted strategic campaign to increase customer service and productivity. Future plans call for the addition of two more full service facilities next year," added Veitch.
