-HUDS Three New Kincaid Home Furnishings Stores Open Across U.S.

Kincaid, America’s largest producer of solid wood furniture, announceD the opening of three new Kincaid Home Furnishings stores in Charleston, S.C., Ft. Worth, Texas, and Omaha, Nebraska.
The new Kincaid Home Furnishings stores feature furniture collections for the bedroom and dining room, as well as upholstery, accent occasional furnishings, and accessories for the home.
“It is gratifying that despite the challenging retail conditions of present that we are maintaining growth in our store program,” said Steven M. Kincaid. “This isn’t about just opening stores, it is about growing together through partnerships.”
The Charleston store, located at 1821 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., is the first to feature the new Kincaid Home Furnishings brand presentation. This new proprietary format features an updated logo, enhanced exterior elements that define and distinguish Kincaid from other retailers, and new in-store branded point of purchase displays. The purpose of the new layout is to enhance customers’ shopping experience, while engaging them in the Kincaid brand.
“Our goals are to create an environment that immerses the consumer in the Kincaid name, provide a buying experience unique from other home furnishings stores, and highlight our key points of differentiation focusing primarily on our solid wood story,” said Angela Arrington, vice president of retail operations for Kincaid. “The debut of the new Kincaid brand presentation is already proving to be a success in the Charleston market. Based on our initial success of the new format we will be expanding this format to other new and existing stores.”
The new 10,300-square-foot store opened in June, and is the second Kincaid Home Furnishings store in South Carolina for owners Richard Riley and Ross Fletcher.
Ft. Worth, Texas store owners David Barrett and Greg Woolsey opened the first Kincaid Home Furnishings store in Ft. Worth, Texas in May of this year. The new store, located at 5240 S. Hulen St. in Ft. Worth, features 14,600-square-feet of floor space.
On July 17, Kincaid celebrated the opening of its 17th Kincaid Home Furnishings store with owners Mark and Vonda VanArsdel. The store, located at 970 S. 72nd St. in Omaha, is the first Kincaid store to be constructed from the ground up and also features the new Kincaid brand presentation.
