Milliken Introduces Customer Service Web Site Program

Milliken, a continuous technological leader in the carpet industry has launched their 724 customer service web site. The new site allows distributors, dealers and retailers to review and process orders seven-days a week and 24-hours a day. "As part of our ongoing efforts to make the ordering process simpler and more efficient for our carpet retailers, we launched the 724 process to offer convenient service at the click of a button," said Tim Donahue, Customer Service manager for Milliken Carpet and Rugs. The web site, which has been active since February 2001, offers a new level of customer service. Customers now have direct access to their accounts to place orders, change orders, cancel orders and add to existing orders, any time, day or night. Future plans call for tracking orders on carrier web sites as well as customers receiving e-mail notification upon order shipments. Customers may also contact Milliken customer service representatives through the site to ask questions or issue any complaints. The 724 system is very efficient and easy to use, with pull-down menus and simple fill-in blocks.
