New England Furniture & Accessory Market Moving To Convenient Worcester Location

To provide a more convenient location for retail furniture buyers from throughout the Northeast, the furniture & accessory market will be moving to Worcester, MA. this fall. After concluding a highly successful spring show in Fitchburg, MA, the twice-a-year market will be held in Worcester on September 23-24-25, 2001 in the well-known Centrum Centre Arena and Convention Center. The Crowne Plaza Worcester Hotel will be the headquarters. Larry Karel, president of Karel Exposition Management, who produces the trade show, noted that Worcester is the state's second largest city. "It is easily accessible via the Massachusetts Turnpike and connecting expressways from all the New England States, New York and southern Canada," he said. "Three quarters of the available exhibit space for the September show has already been assigned," Karel added. The market is sponsored by the Home Furnishings Association of New England.
