Clio Announces Ikea As 2004 Advertiser Of The Year

The Clio Awards today announced the selection of IKEA as the 2004 Advertiser of the Year award winner. The 6th Annual Award will be presented at this year's Clio Festival in Miami Beach, May 15-18, 2004.
"IKEA's ongoing advertising meets Clio's criteria of resonant creative for the international marketplace and also distinguishes itself with a characteristic willingness to take chances while remaining true to the brand," said Ami Brophy, Executive Director of the Clio Awards.
Brophy also noted, "The IKEA commitment to creative originality is the essence of what winning a Clio represents."

About Clio's Advertiser of the Year: The 'Advertiser of the Year,' created in 1998, is one of two special awards presented by Clio each year. Previous winners for the prestigious Advertiser of the Year Awards include Anheuser-Busch, Guinness, Volkswagen and Nike, among others. Also honored at this year's Clio Festival will be Lee Clow, TBWA\Worldwide's Chairman & Chief Creative Officer, with Clio's Lifetime Achievement Award.
