Wiseway Motor Freight Promotes Rich Carl To The Position Of Executive Vice President

Rich has been with Wiseway for 3-1/2 years and during that time has made many contributions in the areas of sales and management. He grew up in the furniture business; his family had five furniture stores in North Dakota. After college he moved on to Dayton’s (now Marshall Fields) where he held ascending positions ranging from managing several departments, including furniture, to a Dayton’s Home Store manager. Department store management is a challenging field and Rich learned a tremendous amount in this area and contributed the same. In 1988 Rich joined Schneiderman’s Furniture. He was the General Manager of the metro stores, with an emphasis on corporate development and training. This experience, coupled with his time at Wiseway, make him the ideal person for this newly created position. Rich says, “I find myself feeling very blessed, being given the opportunity to help Wiseway, and all associates, continue its growth and success. By all of us working together, we will have achievements tomorrow that were only dreams yesterday.
