AFMA Elects 2003 Officers

Steven M. Kincaid, president of Kincaid Furniture in Hudson, N.C., was elected president of the American Furniture Manufacturers Association for 2003 during the trade group’s Annual Meeting Nov. 14-17 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Robert Spilman, president and chief executive officer of Bassett Furniture Inds. in Bassett, Va., was elected first vice president, and Rob Sligh, chairman and CEO of Sligh Furniture in Holland, Mich., was elected second vice president.
M. Farooq Kathwari, chairman, president and CEO of Ethan Allen in Danbury, Conn., moves to chairman of the board.
