Lance Benefield & Co., Inc. Wins Six Awards For Excellence In Television Commercial Production

Advertising agency Lance Benefield & Co., Inc. won six national Communicator Awards for their work on behalf of clients for 1998. The awards include the prestigious Crystal Award of Excellence in the directing category as well as in best furniture commercial and two additional awards for overall excellence. The Crystal Award of Excellence for "Directing" came through the efforts of Sean Hanish for the Robb & Stucky 1998 "Cornerstone" television commercial for the opening of their new facility in Scottsdale, Arizona. This same commercial also won Lance Benefield & Co., Inc. the Crystal Award of Excellence for outstanding furniture commercial. This is the first time that the advertising firm had won both the commercial and directing awards. The firm also won the Communicator Awards 1998 Crystal Award of Excellence for outstanding commercial for Homestead House's (Denver and Los Angeles) "Dream Home" television commercial. An Award of Distinction from the 1998 Communicator Awards resulted from the Johns Furniture (Philadelphia) "Best of Johns" television commercial. The fifth award, also an Award of Distinction, was won through the efforts of Lance G. Hanish for "Writing" for the Robb & Stucky "Olympics" commercial. The final award – an Honorable Mention from the 1998 Communicator Awards – is also for a Robb & Stucky furniture commercial, "Gracious Living." Only two firms won three Crystal Awards of Excellence for television commercial production.
