Saeid Korhani, Chairman and CEO of Yanoor Corp, parent company of the recently reopened Monticello Carpet Mills announced the appointment of Mike Degrace as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Monticello Flooring. Mr. Degrace, formerly with Beaulieu of America as a Vice President of Sales, will be headquartered in Monticello Flooring’s new corporate offices in Atlanta. "Monticello Flooring is a brand extension of the well known Monticello Carpet Mills” says Shields Smith, Vice President of Marketing for Yanoor Corporation. “In addition to revitalizing the Monticello brand in broadloom, we will also be making an entry into the hardwood and ceramic tile markets. Mike has been very successful for over a quarter century while helping to grow some of the giants in our industry. He will make an immediate impact.” "Mr. Korhani stated that the company was already producing broadloom for several major accounts but that Mr. Degrace had already consummated a major program with Lowes. “With Mike Degrace leading this division’s sales and product development efforts, we will provide a substantial, quality alternative to the limited resources available to retailers in today’s market as Mike has already proven with a significant partnership with Lowes.” I am very excited to join such a dynamic team” says Degrace. “Monticello has a great history of being one of the industries best broadloom producers. Yanoor Corporation's almost 1 million square feet of manufacturing facilities in Monticello, Arkansas was acquired 20 months ago from Burlington Industries, and is widely regarded in the industry as "the crown jewel of manufacturing facilities".
