Robert Hall Joins Caldwell Freight Lines As MIS Director

Robert Hall recently joined Caldwell Freight Lines - a trucking company which serves the furniture industry nationwide-as Director of MIS (Management of Information Services). The twenty-year information technology veteran most recently served as Computer Operations Manager at Alex Lee, Inc. (more commonly known as Merchants Distributors Inc.) in Hickory. Hall's responsibilities at Caldwell Freight will center on managing the sea of computer information necessary for the carrier's day-to-day operations. His expertise will help customers-both retailers and manufacturers-more efficiently interface with the trucking company. "My goal is to make Caldwell the technology leader among furniture carriers," he declares. "We want to empower our customers and move them to the next level, technologically speaking. Caldwell is deeply invested in building strong, long-term relationships with its customers-that's one reason I accepted this job. I also enjoy working for a company in which I can have such a personal impact." David Brenner, president of Caldwell Freight Lines, says he was impressed with Hall's enthusiasm and vision for his company's future. Hall, his wife Connie, and their three sons Seth, Scoff and Sean, are residents of Conover, NC. They are active members of Cornerstone Church in Maiden, NC.
