POWELL COMPANY NAMES LANNERTONE EXEC VP SALES

The Powell Company is pleased to announce that Jon R. Lannertone has joined the Powell organization as Executive Vice President of Sales. In this newly created position, Lannertone will report to Rick Powell and Andrew Cohen. As Executive Vice President, Lannertone will be responsible for the sales to both key accounts and independent furniture dealers, expanding Powell Company's International Sales, coordinating and developing new marketing strategies, and sales management. Lannertone expressed his enthusiasm about his new position with the Powell Company: "I have worked with a variety of personalities in the furniture industry.
