ITMA And Showtime Select Officers

At its recent membership meeting, the International Textile Market Association announced the Board of Directors and officers for its 1998-1999 year. Serving as President is Bob Mathews, vice-president Burlington Industries; Vice-president, Richard Krapfel, senior vice-president sales for Valdese Weavers, Incorporated; and Secretary/Treasurer, Bob Patton, national sales manager furniture for P.Kaufmann, Bloomcraft and Braemore. In addition to the officers, the 1998-1999 Board of Directors is comprised of Gwynne B. Adams, retail marketing manager of Culp, Inc.; Tom Forrester, vice-president of Covington Fabrics Corporation; Ray King, executive vice-president of Mastercraft Fabrics LLC; Tony Lynn, president of Friitala of America, Inc.; Tom Muzekari, vicepresident of marketing and sales for Quaker Fabrics Corporation; and Parks Neisler, vice-president of Dicey Mills Incorporated. The nine member board governs the operations of ITMA in addition to the planning of Showtime, High Point's semi-annual fabric market. Showtime has become the premier fabric viewing event in the western hemisphere. Showtime Winter 1999 will be held January 4 - 8.
