Alexander Julian, the celebrated fashion and home furnishings designer, received the American Society of Furniture Designer's Pinnacle Award in the Major Collections category during a ceremony held at the recent International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, NC. He received top honors for his design of Patterns - a 65 piece collection of living room, dining room, occasional and upholstered furniture manufactured by Universal Furniture Limited. Julian is the first fashion designer to win The Pinnacle Award, which recognizes outstanding furniture design within the retail home furnishings industry. Julian, who launched his first collection of furniture in 1994, said he was honored to be in the company of so many talented designers.
