New Financial Reporting Tools Soon Available from STORIS

STORIS Management Systems, a leading supplier of turnkey and business systems for furniture, appliance, and electronic retailers has introduced Finance at it Glance II, a new financial report writer which connects the PC desktop to all general ledger data on the STORIS host server. "This tool allows retailers to view organized, easy to read financial data in virtually any format over any time period." stated Ira Bakst, STORIS Senior Vice President. FAGLII incorporates spreadsheet logic to facilitate the design of both financial and comparative user-defined reports. FAGLII will give Financial officers the reporting tools usually available to Fortune 500 companies at a fraction of the cost." With Finance at a Glance. financial statements can be designed to took at both current and future (unposted) periods. Individual or consolidated financial reports can be generated by store, region, or company. Budgeted and variance reporting is also facilitated via user generated formulas Provisions include the, ability to utilize 254 columns is well is up to 1600 rows. Columns can be store specific or company wide. In addition, the software has close, to 170 pre-defined column definitions available for use. Some of these include current period, periods 1-12, quarters 1-4, and budgets for last year, next vear, and current year, as well as as period to date information.
