LIS Corporation Acquires Nature's Rest Mattress Company: Forms Nature's Rest Marketing Corporation

LIS Corporation, an investment company with holdings in the bedding and other industries, has acquired the Nature's Rest Mattress Company, makers of a line of luxury latex mattresses and adjustable beds, and is renaming the company Nature's Rest Marketing Corporation (NRM), it was announced today by Jonathan May, President and Chief Operating Officer, LIS Corporation. The current president of Nature's Rest, Rick Robinson, has been named President and Chief Operating Officer. "We are excited about acquiring Nature's Rest, which has risen quickly to become a leading latex brand in its existing markets," said May. "This is another valuable acquisition for LIS Corporation, as we build a diverse portfolio of companies for our investment group." NRM, which will continue to be headquartered in Tampa, Florida, will maintain its current licensee and distribution relationships in Florida, Texas, New York , Arizona, New Mexico and Southern California, and plans to expand licensees in other markets.
