The CIT Group/Commercial Services Appoints John R. Tinnell Jr. Vice President Midwest Region

The CIT Group/Commercial Services announced that John R. Tinnell Jr. has joined the company's Charlotte office as a Vice President, Business Development Officer. In this position, Mr. Tinnell will be responsible for developing asset-based lending, credit protection, and accounts receivable management business in CIT's Midwest Region. "John's successful track record and experience in developing factoring and asset-based lending arrangements will prove invaluable to both Commercial Services and our clients," said Lawrence A. Prior to joining CIT/Commercial Services, Mr. Tinnell was a Vice President with First Factors Corporation and an Assistant Vice President with NationsBanc Commercial Corporation. Mr. Tinnell, a graduate of Duke University, is a member of the Commercial Finance Association, the Turnaround Management Association and the National Funding Association.
