The -Powell Company announced the opening of a brand new 200,000 square foot distribution center. The new facility is located in the Los Angeles area, and will provide the necessary storage and distribution needs of the Powell Company's continued growth with the Generations for the 21st Century and Powell lines. The new location will help to ensure rapid ship times (within 24 hours) to all of Powell's west coast customers and offers expanded hours of operation. The Powell Company's 1998 sales were $135 Million and are expected to grow in large proportions in the upcoming years.
