Karel Exposition Management Prepares for Mid-Atlantic Furniture Show And Other Regional Markets

Karel Exposition Management is preparing for their regional furniture and accessory markets. These shows are generating an enormous amount of interest from domestic and international exhibitors, including the two upcoming shows, which are almost sold out. The Mid-Atlantic Furniture and Accessory Market is taking place August 8-10, 1999, at the New Jersey Convention Center in Edison, NJ. and the Orlando Furniture and Accessory Market is scheduled for August 27-29, 1999, at the Orange County Convention Center. The Orlando show is the largest of its kind, having no connection with merchandise marts or other permanent structures. Three hotels in Orlando are needed to accommodate all the retailers and exhibitors attending the show. KEM has two shows in Florida, Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale. The South Florida furniture and Accessory Market is from February 26-28, 2000. The Ft. Lauderdale location brings in many retailers and exhibitors from the Caribbean and Puerto Rico, giving the show a bit of Latino spice. "The central location of these shows allows most of the buyers to travel a short distance by car and eliminates the costs of airfare, hotel rooms and rental cars, " said Larry Karel, president of KEM. Merchandise on display at all shows are from domestic and international companies. The wide variety of furniture and accessories at the markets give buyers insight to the hottest styles for the upcoming year. These shows are not open to the public, and no one under 13 will be admitted. There is no registration fee, but attendees must have the proper identification.
