First on the calendar is the 35th Mid-Atlantic Furniture & Accessory Market being hold in the New Jersey Convention Center, August 8, 9, 10, 1999 with a sold out event featuring over 700 jam-packed exhibit booths. Merchandise from across the Globe will be on display featuring home furnishings and accessories. The show, held in Edison, New Jersey is the largest of its kind in the Northeast and promises to be wall to wall with buyers as over 1,000 have already pro-registered according to Larry Karel of KEM. Market hours are 9:30 am to 5:00 p.m. on August 8 & 9:30 am to 3:00 p.m. on the final day, August 10th. Not to be ignored in August is the largest show of its kind in the U.S., the Orlando Furniture & Accessory Market, August 27, 28, 29, at the Orange County Convention Center.
