GERS Retail Systems Jumps Into The Office Furniture Market

GERS Retail Systems is announced that Office Furniture Source has chosen the GERS Sequel System as its retail management tool. Dallas-based Office Furniture Source is the first office furniture retailer to join the GERS family and will utilize the standard GERS Big Ticket system. "The reason we chose the Sequel System is because we needed help in better managing our business and our current system is not complete, " said Office Furniture Source President Paul Ribble. "We're hoping for big things from this system." Office Furniture Source was previously using a system by Team Design. Specifically, Office Furniture Source will be utilizing modules for inventory control, customer service, POS, e-mail, EDI Interface, and credit card authorization. The system being installed will include more than 30 PCs. Office Furniture Source, who has two stores and one warehouse in the Dallas, Texas area, manufacturers and installs modular workspace furniture. "Our deal with Office Furniture Source is a big step for GERS, so we're excited about jumping into the office furniture market," said GERS Retail Systems Vice President Dennis Conforto. "I look forward to a long, successful relationship with them."
